WELCOME TO THE WORLD CUP 2022, GROUP G, QATAR!
This edition of the World Cup will be unusual, for the first time it will be played in the winter period for most of the world. We will witness a special football story, a most important event in the football world after 2018 and the World Cup in Russia where France beat Croatia to lift the most significant football trophy. Domestic leagues around the world, particularly in Europe, have had to postpone their seasons to accommodate this winter World Cup. Most of the leagues will restart in late December and early January.
Group G is one of the toughest groups in a World Cup.
I am happy to bring you my view on Brazilian, Serbian, Cameroonian and Swiss football national teams before the big tournament starts!
Brazil

Brazil has won the greatest football tournament 5 times, and they’re the only team to appear in the World Cup all 21 times! Brazil was the first team to qualify out of South America on November 11th, 2021. Finding the ideal balance among the skill pool will be Tite's main issue. For Brazil there is three minor tactical adjustments, Lucas Paqueta's adaptability is essential. But whether they use two wingers or not, the concept remains the same. When they lose the ball, they press the opposition with a ferocity that no other Brazil team has ever demonstrated. They want the ball. Neymar will undoubtedly serve as the foundation of the Brazil team.
However, the Brazil coach has enough tools at the other offensive third. Richarlison will maybe not start according to the latest information and Gabriel Jesus is more likely to be the line's captain. Rapinha and Antony should contend for a position at the right wing. However, Vinicius Junior, one of the top strikers right now, deserves to play on the left wing too. Alisson should guard the goal line, and Thiago Silva and Marquinhos should be the favored defensive pairing. Cameroon are one of the five sides that will represent Africa at the 2022 Qatar World Cup. African team enters the group stage as the longshot to win Group G at +1400 odds. Better said, they have the lowest chances to win their group and I agree with this fact. Cameroon punched their ticket to the World Cup by winning their African qualifying group, which included Ivory Coast, Mozambique, and Malawi, followed by a head-to-head win against Algeria in the following round. This will be their eighth World Cup appearance, and former international Rigobert Song currently manages the team.
Forward Vincent Aboubakar leads the team in most international appearances with 86, and he has scored 33 international goals over his career. He spent time with FC Porto from 2014 to 2020 and now plays his club soccer with Al Nassr in Saudi Arabia. Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting, of Bayern Munich, also joins Aboubakar up front for Cameroon. The 33-year-old forward has played in 67 international matches and scored 18 goals. Hopes are definitely high heading into the World Cup for Cameroon, but they’ll have their work cut out for them in this group. Cameroon won only one match in the last 5 World Cups, so expect them to end without much improvement this time too. Their luck wasn’t so bright on a draw.
Star player: Andre-Frank Anguissa (Napoli)
Zambo Anguissa has developed into a very exceptional midfielder, despite the fact that his transfer from Marseille to Fulham resulted in two relegations. Having been linked to Real Madrid while at Villarreal, he eventually moved to Napoli, first on loan, where he played a key role in the team's Champions League qualification before supporting their incredible performance this season in both Serie A and Europe. He has thrived in a more varied role for the Partenopei, contributing to four goals in four Champions League games, and he is also playing a bigger role for Cameroon. In order to give Zambo Anguissa the best opportunity of being fresh for Qatar, Song purposefully left him out of the September friendlies.

Serbia for the 2022 FIFA World Cup as an unlikely team from their group in the European qualifiers. They managed to win their five-team group with an unbeaten record of 6-2-0, knocking off Portugal and punching their ticket to the tournament. This will be their 13th appearance in the tournament, including participation when they were formerly known as Yugoslavia (until 1990) and Serbia and Montenegro (1998-2006).Dragan Stojković is currently the manager of the Serbian side, coaching in 14 matches thus far, with a record of 9-3-2. The Serbians will be hoping to put on a strong performance in Qatar, with Cameroon and Switzerland following shortly after. Throughout his playing career, Stojkovic played with Red Star Belgrade, where he had a prosperous four years, making it to the UEFA Cup semifinals and twice winning the Yugoslavia First League.The player left from here and joined Olympique Marseille, where he won the Champions League, before finishing his career with Nagoya Grampus as the J-league MVP. He acquired his eponymous moniker while playing; in Yugoslavia, he was known as "Piksi," and in his later years of competition, the Japanese supporters began to chant this. The moniker is still in use during his managing career, which began in 2008 when he took over at his old team Nagoya Grampus. He later joined China side Guanzhou R&F in 2015 and was appointed manager of the Serbian national team in 2021. Since his arrival, the face of Serbia National Team changed for 180 degrees.
The roster is headlined by 27-year-old forward Aleksandar Mitrović, who has 44 goals over 71 caps in his international career with Serbia. Dušan Tadić captains both the Serbian national team and his club team, Ajax. Tadić has been a vital piece to the team since around 2018 and scored in their 2-1 win over Portugal in the qualifying round back in November of 2021. Predrag Rajković will likely handle the goalkeeping in the upcoming tournament. The 26-year-old goalie has 27 caps in his international career and plays his club ball with Reims in Ligue 1. From the other big names, you all know Dušan Vlahović - Juve’s striker who is one of the jewels and our big hopes in this tournament too! Not to forget Filip Kostić, his teammate in Juventus, while Saša Lukić and Nemanja Radonjić are nearly those two - in the same city, but the rival team of those two aforementioned - Torino! Chemistry is more than good in the team and I highly recommend you to stay close and invest your money with Serbia. Reaching ¼ quarterfinals would be a top for Serbia.
Star player: Dušan Tadić (Ajax)
Tadic, Serbia's captain and most-capped player, is also the team's oldest player at 33. The Ajax star is Stojkovic's leader on the field because of his superior tactical knowledge and positional awareness. He demonstrates what needs to be done to his teammates and sets an example for others to follow.

Even if it sounds cliche, Switzerland's strongest quality has long been their teamwork. They are a small group with a few powerful but not globally dominant members.Switzerland qualified for their 12th FIFA World Cup by winning their group of five teams in the European qualifier. Murat Yakin has been managing the squad since August of 2021, and the team is 4-4-1 since his reign began. Granit Xhaka captained Switzerland the last time they took the pitch against Kosovo in late March. Xhaka plays his club soccer at Arsenal, and the midfielder has made 100 international appearances. Other notable names on the roster include Xherdan Shaqiri (102 caps), Breel Embolo (52 caps), and Mario Gavranović (39 caps). Shaqiri may be the most well-known player on the team, as the 30-year-old has spent time with Bayern Munich, Inter Milan, and Liverpool and now plays stateside with the Chicago Fire. There aren't any obvious weak points, but if you had to pick one thing that this club is most lacking in it would be a goal scorer who can consistently put the ball in the net. Noah Okafor of FC Salzburg is one of the young players with significant promise; yet, Haris Seferovic has frequently been the No. 1 option up front and has the most experience.
Star player: Granit Xhaka (Arsenal)
The importance of Xhaka to the team was immediately apparent after his comeback, despite the fact that he had more than his fair share of arguments with the management and missed all six of the qualification games that were played after Euro 2020 due to a ligament injury. This is a tough group, one of the toughest in the whole tournament. Cameroon looks like the weakest side with and there won’t be much space for them to do anything big while Serbia and Switzerland should battle for 2nd position. Brazil lefts. So, to sum it up : I expect Brazil on the top, behind them Serbia and Switzerland to share the 2nd and 3rd position. That is a basic view and my initial expectations, but as a Serbia fan, I even go far with expecting Serbia to win 2 and draw 1 match in the group, so to end second placed anyway. Would definitely say that all football lovers in Serbia are hoping our national team will have a really good tournament and there are hidden hopes for quarterfinal-semifinal alongside Croatia.
SPECIAL DETAILS
The game between Serbia and Switzerland will be a special moment to take care of. I highly suggest betting on cards, yellow and red cards, because Switzerland is a team based of players from Kosovo, which is our country, for us, Serbians and there were provocations in the last mutual game, last time when two teams met in World Cup 2018 In Russia: the match was full of tensions, with 5 cards, which is not a big number, but lines are nowadays lower adjusted and will be surely fine paid by your bookmaker.
Besides card bets, I suggest Aleksandar Mitrović and Dušan Vlahović to find their place at your goalscorer predictions. Even more I have a feeling about Vlahović who wants to prove himself as the worldclass striker, both for Juventus and for a national team. This young man is something special, and he is a beast of mentality. Similar to Haaland in so many ways, but still different enough to carry on his own legacy, which will be huge once he finish with football. Everything depends on a team, but Vlahović could be positioned high at this tournament. Odds for Vlahović wins the top scorer trophy is between 70-100 in bookmakers around.
